Snap built by me. Everything else done by my dad.
It was nice to build another Master Grade again since my Stark Jegan, but this GINN is based off the ZAKU Warrior and follows the same engineering, it basically builds like a Full Mechanics kit with a full inner frame. There’s really nothing worthy to talk about other than the wings having quite a substantial inner frame inside them.
However, as this is a modern 1/100 SEED kit, the surface detail is absolute bonkers, and my dad being a sucker for 1/100 SEED kits, did he go all out on hand painting everywhere, with lots of blue, red and gray plastered on the armor, which I think it benefits the look of the kit; it is quite plain as there’s not much inner frame poking out there can be. I hope you like the look of how he painted the backpack and the inner frame, because damn, was he having a fun time doing that.
He used the sticker decals as we usually like using them anyway, but I will say, this is one of the times where I do not like them because they are stickers, even my dad was annoyed how big the cutouts were for the small decals. I thought all the decals were white, but there’s quite a few red ones, and to be honest, the red kinda becomes too noisy with both the red painted areas and the red decals, but the kit’s flourishing in many different colors anyway. It really reminds me of a race car, which my dad realized too and it’s probably why he loves making SEED kits.
Well, that’s really all I have to say about this kit, I’m just burnt out from the astonishment you call the RG Epyon, but this thing ain’t no slouch either, it’s just not much of my build as it is my dad’s. He’s already going for the Calamity next, which I’m sure he’ll be having a blast detailing that up with the amount of surface detail that kit has as well.
